Active for Life
Are you over the age of 60 or have joints or muscles that you’re sure are older than you are?
Aging can take a toll on your strength, mobility and balance - interestingly, it doesn't always take a toll on your ability to recover! In my experience, the older adults I work with are some of my most resilient and responsive clients. Together we will work on building balanced strength to re-establish your confidence in your mobility and your enjoyment of daily activities.
I have several clients in their 80's who are amazed with their restored strength and mobility.
Chronic disease management
Living well with chronic diseases is a priority for a number of my clients. Management of your symptoms can be improved with personalized training sessions designed for this purpose. I work with clients who have Parkinson's, diabetes, arthritis and heart disease who have realized their target objectives from our sessions together.
I am available to consult with your health-care team when it may be beneficial for you.
I was involved in a car accident and sustained some serious neck, back and hip injuries. I was also diagnosed with Parkinson's disease shortly after the collision. As part of my recovery program, an orthopaedic surgeon recommended that I try Pilates. Norm designed a personalized program to improve my balance, stamina, posture and flexibility. I would recommend Norm for anyone looking to improve their overall strength and conditioning. He's done wonders for me and I continue to make progress. Shirley H.
